Position: Compliance Officer – AML & Regulatory Officer

Department: Compliance Department
Reports To: Senior AML & Regulatory Officer

Job Requirements:

• Education: Honors Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Understanding of the financial services sector and regulatory framework.
• Professional qualification in AML/CFT, Financial Crime Risk (added advantage).
• Work Experience: Minimum 1 year in AML & Regulatory compliance in a commercial banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and apprise management of new bills, regulatory amendments, and compliance breaches.
• Prepare and submit timely regulatory reports.
• Conduct market research on new regulatory risks.
• Educate and train staff on regulatory compliance.
• Monitor compliance with Regulatory requirements and carry out risk assessments.

• Analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• High level of integrity.
