About Hoima School of Nursing and Midwifery

Hoima School of Nursing and Midwifery (HSNM), under the Ministry of Education and Sports,
invites applications from suitable and qualified candidates to fill vacant positions for
Clinical Instructors on a Governing Council Contract basis.

Job Summary

The Clinical Instructor will be responsible for conducting classroom lessons and clinical sessions,
assessing trainees, and supporting nursing and midwifery education programs.

Minimum Requirements

• Must possess a Diploma in Nursing, Midwifery, Comprehensive Nursing, or Mental Health Nursing.
• Must be fully registered with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Midwifery is an added advantage.
• Ability to conduct classroom lessons and clinical sessions.
• Ability to carry out continuous assessment and evaluation of trainees.
• Must be able to work under minimal supervision.
• Relevant working experience is an added advantage.
• Applicants must be below 50 years of age.
