General Manager (1)

Reports to: Managing Director, Uganda Kolping Society

Duty Station: Hoima

Age Limit: 30 – 40 Years

Remuneration: Attractive and Competitive

Over all responsibility; Lead and grow KHUL’s hospitality and income-generating ventures, drive strategic direction, day-to-day operations, profitability, and organizational excellence.

Qualifications & competence

Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline
At least three years of Senior Management experience in hospitality or related sectors
Proven ability in business development, client relations, financial management, strategic planning, and leadership
Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
Understanding of local and International hospitality trends is an added advantage
Key Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations across all KHUL business units.
Develop and implement strategic growth plans, pursue new income streams and diversify business.
Lead, train, supervise, and motivate staff and Project Managers to meet set targets.
Ensure client and stakeholder satisfaction by handling complaints, resolving issues, and sustaining service quality.
Post: Hotel Manager (1)

Reports to: General Manager

Duty Station: Kolping Hotels

Qualification and Person Specification

A Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Institutional Catering or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
Three years working experience in a reputable Institution.
Well-developed managerial, interpersonal and public relations skills.
Knowledge of strategic planning

Duties and Responsibilities

Accounting Officer of the Hotel.
Supervise staff and operations of the Hotel at all levels and set clear targets.
Plan activities and allocate responsibilities to achieve the set targets and objectives.

Post; Supervisor Housekeeping (02)

Reports to: Hotel Manager

Duty Station: Kolping Hotels

Age Limit: 25 – 40 years

Qualification and Person Specification

A Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Institutional Catering or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
Three years working experience in a reputable Institution.
Well-developed managerial, interpersonal and public relations skills.
Knowledge of strategic planning

Duties and Responsibilities

Head, direct and supervise the efficient operation of the different services of the House Keeping department.
Supervise the cleanness of the rooms, public areas and compound
Control and supervise the movement and quality of linen issued to guest’s rooms
Maintain all house keeping records.

Post: Barista (1)

Reports: F&B Supervisor

Duty Station: Kolping Hotels

Age Limit: 22 – 35 Years

Remuneration: Attractive and Competitive

Overall Responsibility: The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and tea beverages, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and ensuring excellent customer service at all times.

Qualification and Person Specification

A diploma/ Certificate in Hotel and Institutional Catering, Hotel Management or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
A Certificate in Barista Skills is an added advantage.
Relevant experience of at least two years in the Hotel industry as a Barista or in a similar food and beverage role.
Strong knowledge of coffee and tea brewing methods.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and sell coffee, tea blends, juices, pastries, and related beverages while observing the best brewing methods and hygiene standards.
Clean, sanitize, and restock workstations and dining areas, including disassembling and washing equipment.
Train team members on brewing techniques, beverage preparation, food presentation, and customer service best practices.

Post: Hotel Accountant (2)

Duty Station: Kolping Hotels

Reports to: Hotel Manager

Age Limit: 23 – 35 years

Qualification and Person Specification

A Degree in Business Administration with Accounting Option, Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Finance or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
Professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an added advantage
Two (2) years’ working experience in a reputable organization
Well-developed interpersonal and public relations skills
Proficient in Accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office tools.
Strong financial management and analytical skills
Knowledge of tax laws, payroll, and Audit Processes
High moral character and proven integrity.
Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare books of Accounts and Accounting Records of the Hotel
Supervise revenue collection and manage Hotel finances
Prepare and maintain books of Accounts and financial records
Develop and monitor budgets and generate periodic financial reports
Reconcile Bank statements with the cashbook and Accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with statutory obligations
Manage payroll processing, including deductions and remittances

Laundry Attendants (01)

Reports: Supervisor House Keeping

Duty Station: Kolping Hotels

Age Limit: 22 – 35 years

Qualification and Person Specification

A Certificate in Catering and Hotel Management or its equivalent from a reputable Institution.
Relevant experience of at least three years in the Hotel industry working in House Keeping department.
Ability to work with minimal Supervision
Ability to meet tight deadlines with efficiency
Duties and Responsibilities

Sort and clean all linen.
Dry and iron washed linen as required.
Sort and fold or hang clean items
Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate cleaning needs to the

Post; Gardener

Duty Station: Kolping Hotel

Reports to: Supervisor House Keeping

Age Limit: 22 – 35 years

A Certificate in Catering and Hotel Management or its equivalent from a reputable Institution.
Relevant experience in the Hotel industry working in House Keeping department.
Ability to work with minimal Supervision

Responsible for the general maintenance of the Hotel Gardens and the surrounding areas
