Job Summary:

The position holder will manage the procurement and disposal function of Mildmay Uganda and provide technical assistance to Heads of sections, Divisions, Directorates, and any duly appointed Procurement Committee(s) on Procurement and disposal matters.

A Bachelors Degree in Procurement and Logistics Management, or Bachelor of Commerce, Business Administration, or any other business-related field, with Post Postgraduate Diploma in Procurement & Supply Management. Membership of CIPS is an added advantage

Job-related experience and knowledge:

Candidate must have at least 3 years of practical experience in the field of Procurement and Supply chain management in a fairly large organization, preferably a donor-funded and private not-for-profit hospital. S/he will have knowledge of Procurement Planning, Budgeting, and Contract management plus knowledge of accounting packages, preferably Navision
