Institute of Allied Health Sciences (IAHS) – 2 Positions (Re-advertised)
• Consultant – Health Economics, Health Financing & Policy (2)

Reporting To: Faculty Deans

Job Summary:
The Consultant is responsible for:
• Teaching assigned courses
• Developing course materials
• Supporting and mentoring students
• Contributing to a quality educational environment

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Prepare and update lecture notes (in-person and/or online)
• Submit teaching resources like course outlines and reading lists
• Deliver lectures according to semester timetables
• Set, invigilate, assess, and grade all coursework and exams
• Submit assessment results within university deadlines
• Contribute to curriculum development
• Supervise student projects, placements, and field trips
• Guide students in research and protocol reviews
• Perform any other relevant academic duties

Required Qualifications / Person Specifications:
School of Business & Applied Technology
• Procurement and Logistics Consultant:
• Master’s degree in Procurement & Logistics or any business-related field
• Accounting & Finance Consultant:
• Master’s degree in Accounting & Finance

Institute of Allied Health Sciences
• Health Economics, Health Financing & Policy Consultant:
• Master’s or Postgraduate Diploma in Health Economics, Health Financing & Policy

General Requirements:
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of ODeL and Moodle
• Experience in healthcare, academic or research settings
• At least 4 years of post-graduate level teaching experience preferred
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• PhD is an added advantage
