World Vision Uganda, a leading Christian relief and development NGO, is seeking a Support Assistant Program to join our team in Arua, Uganda. Key Responsibilities

  • Logistical Support
    • Assist in planning and organizing meetings, workshops, and events.
    • Ensure the availability of key office materials and manage stock levels.
    • Maintain inventory and prepare requisitions for office supplies and equipment.
  • Financial and Documentation Management
    • Oversee petty cash handling and ensure timely replenishment.
    • Maintain accurate filing of key documents.
    • Monitor LDR timesheet submissions to ensure compliance.
  • Payment Processing and Visitor Coordination
    • Establish a payment tracking system to avoid document loss.
    • Coordinate visitor schedules and direct them to the appropriate staff.
    • Organize reception areas to ensure a welcoming environment for visitors.
  • Store Management
    • Manage store requests, accurately fill out stock cards, and ensure proper approval before issuing items.
    • Perform monthly store counts and submit store reports.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Office Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in a similar or related role.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office, etc.).
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent customer care and public relations skills.
    • Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
    • Ability to work in a multicultural environment and sensitivity to diverse cultures and denominations.
