Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and dependable Security Guard Supervisor to lead and manage our security personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of security guards across multiple client locations.
- Ensure all security protocols, policies, and procedures are followed by staff.
- Monitor and maintain the safety and security of assigned sites, including access control and patrolling.
- Conduct training and performance evaluations for security personnel.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on incidents, activities, and staff performance.
- Respond to emergencies promptly and coordinate with local authorities when necessary.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling of security staff.
- Perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Handle conflict resolution and promote effective communication within the team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Security Guard or in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of security procedures and safety regulations.
- Ability to handle emergencies and high-pressure situations effectively.
- Experience in training and mentoring security personnel.
- A valid security training certificate or relevant qualification is an added advantage.
- Good physical fitness and excellent attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be Ugandan or have legal work authorization in Uganda.
