Job Purpose

The Key Accounts Executive will report to the Service Delivery Manager and be responsible for managing HR & administration tasks related to casual and contractual staff at the client workplace. This includes recruitment, placements, welfare, performance management, and compliance with EHS guidelines, as well as ensuring that Q-Sourcing Limited’s internal policies and client service level agreements are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Participate in recruiting, selecting, and placing workforce as required, ensuring proper onboarding and that staff adhere to contractual terms.
  • Staff Performance Management: Set performance targets, review reward systems, and manage staff attendance and productivity.
  • Contract Management: Oversee and enforce service level agreements between Q-Sourcing Limited and clients, ensuring compliance in areas such as billings, invoicing, client reports, and staff payments.
  • Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure compliance with Occupational and Environmental Health & Safety standards in all operations.
  • Welfare Management: Manage staff welfare, including meals, working time, medical insurance, site clinics for injuries, and leave scheduling.
  • Payments & Financial Oversight: Handle payments for casual and contractual staff, ensure payroll issues are addressed, and oversee project budgeting, petty cash, and financial accountability.
  • Conflict Resolution: Manage workplace conflicts and grievances, escalating where necessary, and ensure preventive approaches are taken.
  • Reporting & Feedback: Document project meetings, escalate issues, and submit monthly reports to the Project Manager.
  • Business Development Support: Assist with business development proposals as needed.

Academic Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Statistics, Engineering, or Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) is a plus.

Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Experience in managing teams and project management.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent people skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Integrity and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with Uganda labor laws is a plus.
  • Excellent presentation and reporting skills.
