Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Wind Turbine Technician, located in Kampala. The Wind Turbine Technician will be responsible for performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbines. The role includes working at heights, ensuring the turbines are running efficiently, and conducting safety inspections. Additionally, the technician will need to maintain accurate service records and communicate any issues to the team.
Qualifications
Skills in Working at Height and Wind Energy
Troubleshooting and Power Generation expertise
Experience with Offshore Wind technology
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols
Certification or training in wind turbine technology is a plus
Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions
