Job Description

Backbone Feeds Company Limited is seeking skilled and experienced Welders to join our construction team at the Bombo project site. The successful candidates will be responsible for welding and joining metal parts and components on-site. This role requires strong knowledge of welding techniques, safety standards, and teamwork in a construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, and Arc welding processes.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Ensure high-quality welds that meet project requirements and safety standards.
• Maintain welding equipment and perform routine checks, repairs, and adjustments.
• Comply with all safety regulations, company policies, and site procedures.
• Collaborate with other trades such as fitters, riggers, and construction workers.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Welding certification from a recognized institution or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in welding, preferably within construction or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and welding specifications.
• Physical ability to work in tight spaces, lift heavy objects, and stand for long hours.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
