Job Title: Technical Assistant
Location: Kampala, Uganda
Role Purpose
Technical Assistants provide expanded support for sound reinforcement, lighting, computer, and audio-visual (A/V) needs. They are responsible for setting up, operating, and breaking down technical equipment for events. These staff members interact directly with clients and presenters, requiring outstanding customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Setup & Breakdown
o Set up and break down A/V, lighting, and computer components for events.
2. Customer Assistance
o Assist customers with technical needs before, during, and after events.
3. Equipment Maintenance
o Ensure the proper appearance and functionality of all A/V, lighting, and computer equipment.
4. Work Environment Maintenance
o Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
5. Professional Appearance
o Maintain a professional appearance, including wearing the issued uniform and nametag.
6. Attendance & Training
o Attend all scheduled shifts, meetings, and training sessions.
