*Job Summary:*

We’re seeking a highly motivated Sustainable Agriculture Specialist to join our team. As a Sustainable Agriculture Specialist, you’ll work with farmers, communities, and organizations to promote sustainable agricultural practices, improve crop yields, and enhance environmental stewardship.

*Key Responsibilities:*

1. *Technical Assistance:* Provide technical assistance to farmers and communities on sustainable agricultural practices, including crop management, soil conservation, and water management.

2. *Training and Capacity Building:* Develop and deliver training programs to build capacity among farmers, extension agents, and other stakeholders.

3. *Project Development:* Design and implement projects that promote sustainable agriculture, improve livelihoods, and conserve natural resources.

4. *Research and Analysis:* Conduct research and analysis on sustainable agriculture practices, identifying best practices and areas for improvement.

5. *Collaboration and Partnerships:* Foster partnerships with farmers, organizations, and government agencies to advance sustainable agriculture.

*Requirements:*

1. *Education:* Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field.

2. *Experience:* 2+ years of experience in sustainable agriculture, preferably in a development or research setting.

3. *Skills:*

– Strong knowledge of sustainable agriculture practices, including organic farming, agroforestry, and conservation agriculture.

– Experience with project development, implementation, and evaluation.

– Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
