These stoves have helped 1,000,000+ beneficiaries save $39 million in fuel expenditures and 626,221 tons of wood while reducing indoor air pollution by 65%. BURN currently sells ~10,000 stoves per month and intend to double sales by the end of 2017.About the role
Burn is looking for a highly analytical visionary, with a strategic mindset, to join as the Strategic Analyst to join the Office of the CEO. This role is pivotal in driving corporate strategy, business transformation, and high-impact initiatives that shape the long-term vision of the company. The ideal candidate will work closely with the CEO, the Chief of Staff, and senior leadership to provide data-driven insights, support strategic decision-making, and facilitate the execution of key corporate initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Corporate Strategy & Business Planning
Collaborate with the CEO & Chief of Staff to develop and refine corporate strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission, vision, and long-term objectives.
Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitive intelligence, and industry benchmarking to identify growth opportunities, emerging trends, and potential risks.
Conduct financial modeling, scenario planning, and impact assessments to evaluate strategic options.
Drive strategic planning cycles, including the development of business plans, strategic roadmaps, and performance metrics.
Provide actionable insights by synthesizing complex data into clear, concise reports and presentations for the CEO and Board of Directors.
Develop high-quality materials that drive executive decision-making and influence corporate direction.
Strategic Initiatives & Execution
Lead and coordinate special strategic projects, cross-functional initiatives, and CEO-sponsored programs.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track execution effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
4-5 years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, investment banking, or a similar strategic role.
Proven ability to analyse complex business challenges, develop structured recommendations, and drive execution.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and business acumen.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and presentation tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, etc.).
Experience working directly with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
