Job Title: Finance Manager
Reports to: Executive Director
Duty Station: Kampala
Duration: 3-year contract (renewable subject to availability of funds and satisfactory performance)

Purpose of the Job:
To take charge of the finance function of AIC, and ensure that the organization’s finances are well-managed and properly utilized for maximum accountability and impact.

Person Specifications:
• Academic Qualifications: A degree in Accounting or Finance and full professional qualifications (CPA/ACCA). A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably in an NGO setting, 3 of which should be at senior level.
• Other Skills: Strong budgeting and planning experience, proficiency in financial reporting, excellent leadership, and computer literacy in accounting software.

Job Title: Internal Auditor
Reports to: Board of Directors
Duty Station: Kampala
Duration: 3-year contract (renewable subject to availability of funds and satisfactory performance)

Purpose of the Job:
The Internal Auditor shall conduct audit exercises. He/she will ensure that AIC’s internal controls, risk management, and governance processes are effective and efficient in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.

Person Specifications:
• Academic Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting option), BBA (Finance/Accounting), or equivalent. CPA or ACCA certification is a must.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of internal auditing in a large NGO or corporate institution.
• Other Requirements: Proficient in accounting packages and MS Office. Strong analytical skills and ethics.

Job Title: Executive Director (Re-advertised)
Reports to: Board of Directors
Duty Station: Kampala
Duration: 5-year contract (renewable subject to availability of funds and satisfactory performance)

Purpose of the Job:
The Executive Director is the Chief Executive of AIC, providing strategic leadership and ensuring operational effectiveness to fulfill the organization’s mission. They will represent AIC to stakeholders, provide direction to staff, and manage resources efficiently.

Person Specifications:
• Academic Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Health Sciences, Public Health, or related field. A PhD is an added advantage.
• Experience: At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in HIV/AIDS or public health programs, 5 of which must be at a senior management level in a reputable organization.
• Key Skills: Strategic leadership, financial oversight, stakeholder engagement, donor liaison, team building, innovation, and excellent communication.
• Age Limit: Not more than 55 years
