Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Acquisition & Relationship Building
• Prospect and identify new markets to expand our customer base.
• Build strong relationships with existing customers to maintain satisfaction and drive new business.
• Listen actively for new opportunities during each customer interaction.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, helping them grow their business.
2. Sales & Business Operations
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed business targets.
• Collaborate with accounting, warehousing, and other teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate with vendors to improve business relationships and operations.
• Monitor and evaluate operating costs, adjusting sales strategies as needed to optimize profitability.
3. Reporting & Forecasting
• Create and present sales forecasts to management and track progress versus goals.
• Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to guide decision-making.
4. Team Development & Leadership
• Act as a trainer/coach for new and existing team members, sharing best practices and sales techniques.
• Foster a collaborative, positive work environment and promote a winning attitude across the team.

• Technical Proficiency: Comfort with Word Processing, Spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel), and CRM systems.

• Business Acumen: Ability to understand market trends, calculate financial metrics, and make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferable) or High School Diploma with 4-6 years of relevant sales experience.
• Experience: At least 2+ years of experience in sales or customer service, with a track record of success.
• Language & Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, and present business information clearly to management, customers, and vendors.
• Math Skills: Comfort with basic math, including calculations for discounts, margins, and percentages.
• Travel Requirements: Ability to travel locally and occasionally overnight, with valid driver’s license.
Physical & Work Environment
• Physical Demands: The role requires frequent driving, sitting, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
• Work Environment: Office and field-based, with exposure to moving parts and low-to-moderate noise levels.
