ARM Life formerly CrystaLife Assurance Plc. is the insurance subsidiary of Asset & Resource Management Company Ltd (ARM).

Its parent company, ARM is one of the largest non-bank financial services firms in Nigeria with a focus on asset management. Established in 1994, ARM started operations as a traditional asset management company specialising in the management of quoted equities and fixed income securities. We are looking to hire a dynamic, client-oriented professional to lead the management and growth of relationships with our retail, high-net-worth, institutional clients, and strategic partners. The ideal candidate should possess a strong grasp of capital market instruments—particularly equities and fixed income securities—and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and business development skills essential for driving client satisfaction and long-term engagement.

Job Details

Client Relationship Management: 

Act as the primary liaison for both existing and potential clients, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.
Provide expert guidance to support and enhance the effectiveness of the external sales team.
Assess clients’ investment goals and deliver customized solutions aligned with current market offerings.
Equip clients and partners with knowledge on trading platforms, available investment products, and evolving market trends.
Facilitate internal and external team training to strengthen their ability to identify and convert market opportunities.
Lead client onboarding processes while driving engagement, retention, and satisfaction through consistent follow-ups and performance updates.
Proactively monitor client portfolios and promptly address inquiries or issues to maintain strong client trust and loyalty.

Partner & Institutional Relationship Management

Serve as Sales Trader to institutional clients and partners
Develop and maintain relationships with institutional clients, investment firms, and key partners.
Coordinate partnership initiatives to enhance product visibility and distribution.
Facilitate collaboration with banks, fintechs, wealth managers, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Represent the firm in industry events, meetings, and networking engagements.

Business Development & Strategy: 

Identify new business opportunities and drive initiatives to expand market share.
Work closely with the research and trading teams to align product offerings with market demand.
Contribute to marketing strategies and campaigns targeting specific client segments.
Track relationship KPIs, prepare periodic reports, and provide insights to management and the Board of Directors.

Product Expertise & Knowledge Sharing

Serve as a subject matter expert (specialist)on the firm’s products and services.
Lead internal training sessions, cross-functional knowledge-sharing initiatives, and external webinars when required.

Compliance and Ethics:

Consistently adhere to the company’s standard operating procedures and internal controls.
Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation and reporting of all transactions and client onboarding activities.
Uphold internal policies related to client relationship management and maintain the highest standards of professional conduct.
Ensure full compliance with the regulatory requirements of SEC, NGX, FMDQ, and other relevant authorities.
Stay informed on updates to regulatory guidelines governing client and partner interactions.
Work collaboratively to ensure that all client-facing communications, including marketing and research materials, comply with applicable laws and industry standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

Foster seamless collaboration with customer experience (call centre and front office),
Collaborate with research for market intelligence and specialised reports as requested by clients or partners
Work closely with compliance, operations teams ensuring adequate reporting and smooth operations to better client experience in line with regulation
Synergize with Data, marketing, and group business development teams on delivering sales targets and improving marketing and sales.
Collaboration outcomes should be clearly defined, measurable, and periodically reported to management.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics, or any related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in relationship management within capital markets.
CIS is an added advantage.
Strong understanding of NGX and SEC policies
Strong knowledge of Nigerian capital markets, including equities and fixed income instruments.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience working with Order Management Systems (OMS), CRM systems and other trading platforms.
