Are you experienced in administration and customer service? Are you a great in-person communicator? Do you care deeply about animal welfare and looking for a role that allows you to have daily contact with animals? Work with us!!
Our Rehoming Officer is KSPCA’s matchmaker-in-chief, the person who gets to make the “happily ever after” happen.
Your job is to help people make the right choice when adopting an animal – both to fit their circumstances, and also to make sure the animal finds a happy, healthy home.
This is a serious responsibility. You need to be someone who can really understand the needs of people and animals.
You will need have strong communication skills and be a friendly but firm advocate for ethical rehoming and the needs of animals.
You will need to be able to deal with many different kinds of people, and to be able to say no when you need to.
You have to be very well organised and able to coordinate a lot of people and information.
You likely have experience of customer service and must be a clear communicator in both English and Kiswahili, You must be very well organised with attention to detail. Familiarity with case management systems is an advantage.
