Hariss International Limited is hiring a Packaging Team Leader responsible for leading and motivating his team, managing production schedules, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. He leads a team of Packaging operators, manages the packaging process, and maintains a safe and hygienic work environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
o Leading, motivating, and guiding a team of packaging operators.
o Assisting the Food controller with administrative tasks like packaging schedules and reports.
o Packaging Team Leader to monitor packaging of products or the effectiveness of the machines, ensure an accurate amount is packed at the right quality.
o Coordinate and plan packaging priorities, workflow, and schedule.
o Identify and report operational and maintenance problems to prevent packaging delays.
o Schedule routine inspection and maintenance of packaging machines to prevent machine breakdowns and malfunctioning.
o Identifying and resolving packaging issues, such as equipment malfunctions or quality problems.
o Appointing labor toward the smooth running of the packaging process.
o Overseeing quality control throughout the packaging process.
o Ensure safety measures and procedures are followed to reduce unexpected incidents and hazards.
o Ensure the packaging process is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
o Ensuring that packaging is completed before deadlines.
o Procuring and monitoring the efficiency of packaging equipment.
o Updating the food Controller on the status of packaging.
o Liaising and coordinating packaging with other sections.
o Resolving labor disputes, where requested.
o Communicating daily objectives, performance updates, and important information to the team.
o Completing process control documentation, recording material usage, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Diploma, in mechanical, Electrical, electronics or similar.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy environment.
• The ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to identify and resolve packaging issues.
• Knowledge of biscuit production processes, machinery, and equipment.
• Understanding of quality control procedures and standards.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Previous experience working in a related industry preferred.
• Exceptional analytical ability toward solving Packaging-related concerns.
• Availability of working extended hours to meet deadlines, when necessary.
