Purpose of the Role
To promote mental health and emotional well-being by delivering high-quality counseling and psychosocial support to children, adolescents, youth, and families in need.

Key Responsibilities
As the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Officer, you will:
• Provide individual and group counseling services to children, adolescents, youth, and families.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and create tailored care plans.
• Organize and facilitate support groups and workshops for targeted communities.
• Deliver training sessions for community leaders, teachers, and caregivers on mental health and psychosocial care.
• Monitor beneficiaries’ progress and offer follow-up care to ensure sustainable impact.
• Collaborate with mental health professionals, community organizations, and service providers to deliver integrated care.
• Prepare detailed reports on activities, outcomes, and challenges for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements
We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled professional with:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in providing mental health and psychosocial support.
• A deep understanding of mental health challenges, especially among vulnerable populations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work sensitively with beneficiaries.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English (knowledge of local languages is an advantage).
