Job Summary:
Responsible for implementing HR strategies, policies, and practices that support a high-performance, employee-focused culture. The HR Officer will ensure compliance with national and international labor laws while contributing to the university’s strategic goals.
Location: Clarke International University, Kampala
Reports to: Human Resources & Administration Manager
Key Responsibilities:
• Generate and analyze HR data for strategic decisions.
• Manage recruitment and selection processes.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Coordinate payroll and staff remuneration.
• Manage staff medical insurance and HR projects.
• Guide staff on HR matters and ensure compliance.
• Identify training needs and implement development initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources.
Required Skills:
• Knowledge of national and international labor laws.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Problem-solving, confidentiality, and conflict resolution skills.
• Understanding of university structures and functions.
