JOB POSITION:
The Fleet Officer is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and cost efficiency of Agri Evolve’s domestic logistics and fuel operations. This includes overseeing the company’s internal vehicle fleet, coordinating third-party transport services, and ensuring efficient fuel usage and reporting. The role is essential in ensuring coffee is moved reliably and cost-effectively from field sites to the Nyabirongo factory, and from the factory to Kampala.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, &/or Auto Mechanics.
- Must have previous experience in fleet & fuel management.
- Strong people management and interpersonal skills, ability to work well with people on all levels.
- Proficient in ERP software systems such as SAP.
- Valid driving permit (Class B/C) required.
- This person must have excellent people skills.
- Excellent verbal & written communication.
- Strong planning and coordination skills.
- High attention to cost efficiency and budgeting.
- Analytical with strong reporting capabilities.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- High integrity, discipline, and reliability.
