Job Opportunity 1: Customer Care Specialists – Mogo Uganda

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and address customers’ needs promptly to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with the Sales team and other Customer Care Agents to resolve inquiries, complaints, or escalations efficiently.
- Process customer loan applications accurately, ensuring compliant loan disbursements.
- Provide professional explanations of Mogo’s finance products, loan terms, and processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and loan applications in the ERP system.
- Follow up with customers to ensure resolution of issues and ongoing support.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to foster trust and loyalty.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell Mogo products.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide feedback on customer trends and needs.
- Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Customer Care Manager.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer support (financial services, logbook, or consumer loan industry preferred).
- Strong customer orientation with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Proven experience in direct sales or customer-facing roles, with loan processing knowledge.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- High emotional intelligence, able to work under pressure.
- Strong work ethic, proactive attitude, and integrity.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Job Opportunity 2: Field Sales Officer (Bodas) – Mogo Uganda
Department: Sales
Reporting to: Branch Manager
Location: Tororo, Iganga, and City Branch
Deadline: 1st September 2025

Key Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed weekly, monthly, and yearly sales targets for Boda loans and related Mogo products.
- Conduct field visits to engage potential customers, promote Mogo’s products, and encourage purchases.
- Screen and enroll qualifying customers while ensuring compliance with company criteria.
- Explain product features, benefits, and loan terms, tailoring pitches to customer needs.
- Follow up on customer repayment commitments to minimize defaults.
- Maintain accurate sales records, customer appointments, and payment schedules in the ERP system.
- Address customer concerns and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Build long-term relationships with customers to drive satisfaction and repeat business.
- Monitor competitor products, market trends, and provide insights to improve Mogo’s offerings.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Branch Manager.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in field sales, customer engagement, or loan administration (Boda/microfinance sector preferred).
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, loan processes, and portfolio management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems or sales tracking tools.
- Ability to analyze market trends and competitors to boost performance.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in sales and loan administration.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently under pressure.
- High school diploma required; degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license or ability to travel within assigned areas (preferred).
