*Job Title:* Climate Change Policy Analyst
*Job Summary:*
We’re seeking a highly skilled Climate Change Policy Analyst to join our team. As a Climate Change Policy Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in analyzing, developing, and implementing policies to mitigate and adapt to climate change, working closely with governments, organizations, and stakeholders.
*Key Responsibilities:*
1. *Policy Analysis:* Analyze climate change policies, laws, and regulations, assessing their effectiveness and impact.
2. *Policy Development:* Develop and recommend climate change policies, strategies, and plans to governments, organizations, and stakeholders.
3. *Stakeholder Engagement:* Collaborate with governments, NGOs, private sector entities, and communities to advance climate change policy and action.
4. *Research and Data Analysis:* Conduct research and data analysis on climate change issues, identifying trends, opportunities, and challenges.
5. *Communication and Advocacy:* Communicate climate change policy recommendations and findings to stakeholders, advocating for effective climate action.
*Requirements:*
1. *Education:* Advanced degree in Environmental Policy, Climate Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
2. *Experience:* 2+ years of experience in climate change policy analysis, development, or implementation.
3. *Skills:*
– Strong understanding of climate change science, policy, and international frameworks
– Experience with policy analysis, development, and implementation
– Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
