Youth Internship Program – Karamoja (Phase III)
Location: Karamoja Region, Uganda
Internship Duration: 6 months (Starting March 2025)
About the Program
Doctors with Africa CUAMM, in partnership with the Embassy of Ireland in Uganda, is implementing a project to strengthen district health systems for improved access to and utilization of quality Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH) services in Karamoja.
We are looking for young, passionate professionals to join our Youth Internship Program – Phase III and contribute to healthcare development in the region.
Available Internship Positions
Midwives (9 positions) – Support maternal and child health initiatives.
Enrolled Nurses (2 positions) – Assist in delivering essential healthcare services.
Nutrition Officers (2 positions) – Promote nutritional well-being through education and support.
Data Clerk (1 position) – Help with data management, analysis, and reporting.
Lab Assistants (2 positions) – Support laboratory operations, including sample collection and analysis.
Finance & Administration Officers (2 positions) – Assist in financial and administrative activities.
Who Can Apply?
Graduated within the last 2 years from a recognized institution in the relevant field.
Passionate about healthcare and community development.
Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
Willing to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
Aged between 20 to 33 years.
Preference will be given to applicants from the Karamoja region.
