Position: Assistant Project Manager
Location: Yumbe, Uganda
Duration: 12 months

Purpose of the Role
To support the Project Manager in coordinating administrative tasks, facilitating project implementation, and ensuring activities are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will:
• Assist in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of project activities to meet objectives.
• Collaborate with project team members and stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.
• Organize and facilitate project meetings, document discussions, and track milestones.
• Provide logistical support for events, training sessions, and community outreach activities.
• Assist in preparing comprehensive project reports and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Monitor project budgets and ensure financial accountability by assisting in reporting.
• Support the development of proposals and contribute to project design and planning.

Qualifications & Requirements
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in project coordination or administration.
• A solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
• The ability to work both independently and within a team with minimal supervision.
