Coca-Cola Beverages Africa /CCBA is the largest African Coca-Cola bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent.
Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda /CCBU is a subsidiary of CCBA, and we are currently seeking to recruit a Route to Market Specialist –
Automation.
As a Route to Market Specialist, you will report directly to the Country Lead: Route to Market

The role will support the sales team through Route to Market Execution, Execution elements of Innovation, Commercial digital agenda, including Sales
Automation etc.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Ownership of RTM tools and partnering with IT to keep tools updated and fully utilized
• Integrate advanced technology and innovative solutions to enhance RTM strategies and drive continuous improvement
• Ensure that RTM remains at the forefront of industry developments by adopting new technologies and practices that enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Apply the business RTM model to allocate resources and schedule customer visits efficiency, achieving modelled cost objectives on an annual basis as business needs change
• Simulate proposed RTM models using defined parameters to assess their feasibility and effectiveness before implementation
• Analyse simulation results to ensure that proposed models meet business objectives and can be practically executed
• Maintain accurate customer master data, including GPS coordinates, calling days, and route numbers, to support precise business modelling and reporting
• Regularly update and validate customer information to ensure it reflects current data and support effective route planning
• Understanding the needs of new channels and new product launches, benchmarking with the market
• Performing annual assessment cycles and ensuring capturing RTM in Business Planning

Skills, Experience & Education
Qualifications, Experience And Competences

Qualifications
• Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Marketing or any relevant discipline.
• Added advantage: Post graduate qualification

Experience
• Minimum requirement: Minimum 5 years of Sales and Distribution in a busy and competition environment, preferably FMCG.
• Experience in the use of systems. Knowledge of MSD will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge and skill in data analysis and management
• Technical Proficiency Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and routing/logistic software, with a proven ability to analyze data, manage complex routing systems, and optimize logistical operations for improved efficiency

• Stakeholders’ management and alignment
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to deliver results within pre-determined timeframes.
• Strong levels of determination and initiative which will drive innovative thinking and growth.
• Strong ability to form effective working partnerships with functions and across functions
• Ability to collaborate coordinating with finance, HR, and sales teams to align RTM strategies, showing strong collaboration and problem-solving abilities to ensure consistent execution.
• Expertise in maintaining and updating accurate customer
master data to support effective route planning,
demonstrating attention to detail and data integrity
